Jesus is a BIG part of my life and this blog is where I share my thoughts, discoveries, and journey along the road called Life. It is my desire to be a source of hope and encouragement for everyone who visits this site.
The title "I am Revival" came from a quote; somebody once said that "I don't pray for revival, I am revival." It's not an arrogant statement but comes from an understanding of what Jesus has already accomplished and who He says we are. He has forgiven the world of her wrongs (1 John 2:2, 2 Cor. 5:19) and calls us to bring this message of reconciliation to the world. We are His ambassadors and a beacon of light in this world. He calls us to love people radically and transform our world with His love. It's ultimately our responsibility to walk as Jesus did.
And if you get nothing else out of visiting this site, I want you to know that God is a good God who is in a good mood. All the evil and destruction in the world? That's not Him.
A little about me...
My name is Sam and I am currently a US college student studying communications and managerial economics. I never liked English classes much (other than creative writing) - analyzing poems or books written decades ago was just not my thing. But I find blogging to be awfully fun and relaxing. If only they had classes that taught you how to blog...
Anyways, in addition to blogging, I serve as a student leader for an on-campus Christian club. One of my privileges as a leader is to lead a group of students out on campus to chat with people life and share with them about the Good News of Jesus. I also enjoy being with family and friends, swimming, reading, watching and playing football. I am a big time New England Patriots fan (I've never lived on the East Coast though)!
